We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically when you use our website.
Information you provide
- Contact and identity details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Booking and trip details: trip dates, passenger names, number of guests, dietary or accessibility needs, sailing experience, and similar information needed to organize your trip.
- Payment information: we use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle payments. Yachtic World does not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
- Communications: messages, emails, reviews, and other content you send us.
- Photos and video: images and video captured during trips (see Section 3).
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system.
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and dates/times of visits.
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
2. How we use your information
- To process bookings, payments, and provide our yacht trips and charters.
- To communicate with you about your booking, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
- To send updates, promotions, and marketing where permitted (you can opt out at any time).

- To promote Yachtic World, including using trip photos and video on our website and social media (see Section 3).

3. Trip photos & social media
Photographs and videos are taken during Yachtic World trips. These pictures may be posted on Facebook and other social media platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok), as well as on our website and in promotional materials, to share the experience and promote Yachtic World.
By taking part in a Yachtic World trip, you acknowledge that you and your party may appear in such photos and videos and that these may be shared publicly as described above.
If you prefer not to have your image posted, or if you would like a specific photo or video of you removed after it has been posted, let us know and we will accommodate your request. To opt out or request removal, contact us at [email protected]. Please tell the crew at the start of your trip if you do not wish to be photographed, and we will do our best to honor that on the day.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers: payment processors, booking and scheduling tools, email and marketing platforms, hosting providers, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Yachtic World, our guests, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Social media: trip photos and video as described in Section 3.
